Harvest 2026 started with sunshine and blue skies, it was the picture-perfect beginning to our 51st vintage here in Nelson.
A settled start to the season delivered beautifully pristine fruit across all varieties, setting the tone for what is to come in the bottle.
With rain looming it was full steam ahead to bring in every last parcel of fruit before the weather set in. We were truly blessed to have a perfect harvest window to get all the fruit off in exceptional condition.
As the harvest buzz in the cellar begins to slow, the hard work hasn't stopped. Winemakers are busy racking wines, filling barrels and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning as everything moves through it's next stage.
Soon the focus will shift to getting the new wines ready for bottle - and out to you

Seifried Nelson Pinot Gris 2025
A fresh look for a familiar favourite, now on shelves in our new branding. Showing nashi pear, crisp apple and a touch of soft spice notes, this Pinot Gris is beautifully balanced with a smooth, off-dry finish. Perfect for enjoying autumn sunsets and relaxed entertaining.
Aotea by the Seifried family Nelson Chardonnay 2024
Lovely drinking on these long, cold evenings. Showing rich opulent aromas of butterscotch, roasted almonds and warming spice. The palate is full and generous, with juicy nectarine characters, subtle oak and a long satisfying finish. A warming accompaniment to a cool evening by the fireplace.
Old Coach Road Nelson Pinot Noir 2025
Now on shelves near you, an easy-drinking Pinot Noir showing ripe cherry and dark berry fruit characters, lifted by gentle spice. The palate is juicy and supple, with fine tannins and a smooth savoury finish. Excellent value for money and ideal for any occasion.
